Entries from a recent sketchbook where I was trying to establish a visual language with which to make diagrams of philosophical concepts. I experimented with colour, mark-making and collage to create images that have a diagrammatic characteristic - they appear to denote something, or could have a meaning projected on to them, but don't represent anything whatsoever.

Doing too much writing these days. I miss drawing. Here are some sketchbook bits from over the summer. I wasn't trying to make anything in particular, just exploring collage some more, in an overarching theme of 'separation'. Varying levels of success achieved.
